Introducing Workflows in Version Eight
8.0 27 February 2019
At the beginning of each year, we challenge ourselves to develop a feature so significant, it deserves its own release. The magnitude of version eight has been so intense that we started work on it in mid-2018.
Version eight introduces our most requested feature by organisations who have multi-step approval processes. The team at Glaass are proud to announce that version eight introduces workflows.
5 Reasons Construction Should Ditch Email
Construction projects around the world continue to rely on email as a platform for correspondence, and it needs to stop. Email has its place, but it’s certainly not on infrastructure projects as a document or correspondence system. Email is, and always has been, a consumer system designed to correspond privately. Team environments thrive on the accessibility of readily available information; employing a personal system like email negates this. Here are five reasons your project should ditch email.
The Final Instalment of Version Seven

Our sixth release of version seven is here and marks the final instalment before version eight is announced. We’re delighted to introduce a slew of new features which boost collaboration in team environments.
Custom Case Types Explained
When you start a project with Glaass, we assist you in customising field meta-data in our standard case types to ensure you capture the required information in each case type. Now, with custom case types, you can create your own case type templates.
Our standard case types help projects get up and running quickly; however, we understand that companies require the ability to tune enterprise applications to meet their specific business needs.

Tutorial Videos Coming to Glaass
When it comes to learning new software, there’s nothing quite like seeing it for yourself. That’s why we’re releasing tutorial videos for our clients which explain everything from signing into Glaass for the first time to linking cases.
The videos range from 30 seconds to 2 minutes and quickly explain how individual tasks are completed in Glaass. We will continually add new videos; however, we’re proud to be releasing an extensive initial playlist.

Advanced Customisation Coming Next to Glaass
Our forthcoming release scheduled for early-July introduces a new array of customisation features to make construction projects more creative. We understand that no two projects or companies are the same, which is why we’re expanding our customisation capabilities.
Our users already love customising cases to modify and introduce new meta-data to more accurately capture project information. Now, with our updated customisation dashboard, users will be able to tailor case types with greater flexibility.
