Our latest update gives you greater collaboration capabilities with a suite of exciting new features.
- Improved Autodesk Forma (previously Autodesk Construction Cloud) Integration capabilities – Previously, when enabled via our Integration Hub, creating an Autodesk Issue would create a case in Glaass and automatically update comments and attachments only. Changes to the Issue itself will now update the linked/mapped metadata in the Glaass case. Furthermore, users can opt to push the Glaass Case ID to the linked Autodesk Issue properties for tracking purposes.
- Modules, Templates & Template Groups Filter in Register and Analytics – A new
“Modules / Templates” filter has been introduced, allowing users to filter by entire modules and/or template groups. - Start Week on Saturday – Users can now update their Personal Preferences to start the work week on Saturdays, which will be reflected in the Calendar. Useful for projects in the Middle East that run on a Saturday to Thursday schedule.
- Full Glaass Logo in Menu Bar – The full Glaass logo now appears in the menu bar of the web application.
- New User & Groups control in Group Creator / Editor – When creating groups, privatising folders, or sharing register searches or analytics dashboards, a new streamlined user and groups selection control has been introduced.
- Excel Export File Renaming – When users export data as an Excel spreadsheet, the file name will now be [Project Name] [functionality].xlsx, for example: “Robina Railway Register.xlsx”
- Register Results Editing (Pencil Icon) – When searching on Register, the pencil icon now shows all the metadata options that are available on the created cases, even if the case has not yet been loaded into the Register Results screen yet.
- Register Results Total Cases – Register Results screen now displays how many cases have been loaded into the screen, for example: “100 of 10,321 Cases”. Users can load more cases by scrolling to the bottom of the Results screen.
- Automatically Deselect Checkboxes after Register Delegate or File Download actions – After a user delegates a case or selects multiple files for download, the system now immediately removes the checks from the checkboxes to limit any confusion about the completion of the action.
- Separate Fields and Metadata in Customise – When adding a new field to a template via Customise, regular fields and metadata fields that appear in the dropdown are now neatly separated by subheadings.
- Redesign of Revision Overview Screen and Creation of New Revisions – Templates that have versioning enabled have a simplified revision-view screen that only contains one “NEW REVISION” button. Users can press this button to create a new case revision and can simply press the “Clear Copied Metadata” case in the case creator to clear all the metadata. Note that ITP checklist items and headers will need to be deleted sequentially if a new ITP excel upload is needed.
- Addition of Revision field to Data Lake export – Projects with the Data Lake module will now have the case Revision field included in the exports. This only applies to templates with versioning enabled.
- Removal of Case Details File Attachments from Timeline – Attachments in the Case Details (Section 2) of a case do not appear in the Timeline, to prevent duplication of information and maintain a clean overview of attachments within the case.
- Backend Process Updates – Various performance updates related to our dashboard and calendar datamarts, data lake extraction, mobile app dashboard, and metadata usage have been deployed in the system, resulting in notable improvements across medium to large-scale projects.
